We're looking forward to seeing everyone this Friday. In order to be prepared, here's some details for this Friday's Alumni Band.

 

Instrument Pickup

If you requested an instrument/equipment for Friday and would like to pick up before the event, please email Mr. Cook at lcook@k12k.com to arrange for pickup. 

 

T-Shirt Pickup

Please wear this t-shirt to alumni band. You can pick up at check in on Friday or in the lobby of the band room at these times. Pants and shoes are up to you!

 

Thursday, Sept 28th, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Thursday, Sept 28th, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Friday, Sept 29th, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

 

Parking

You are welcome to park in the band lot, student gray lot or the lot adjacent to Indian Highland Park. 

 

Check-in 

Entrance to Instrumental Music Building

4:00 pm - 5:30 pm 

At check-in, you will receive the following:

- Name tag

- General admission ticket to game

- Tshirt (if not picked up yet)

- Instrument (if requested and not picked up yet)

 

Reception 

Orchestra Room

4:00 pm - 5:30 pm 

Enjoy light appetizers and catching up with directors and alumni!

 

Rehearsal

Practice Field

5:20 pm

- Color Guard will meet Jed on the practice field to assign step off counts, ripple counts, and review Rocky Top

5:45 pm - 6:15 pm

- Leave instrument case in designated area. Equipment Crew will transport all cases to the stadium and place behind the visitor stands where the band sits. You may pick up after pre-game or at the end of the game.

- Mr. Cook will walk through pregame and any logistics you need to know.

- March down occurs at 6:15 pm

 

Not playing?

You are welcome to march down with the band. When we reach the scoreboard, you can enter with your ticket at that entrance.

 

Pregame

6:32 pm

- War hoop in end zone

- Walk around and stage to march on to school song

- Rocky Top

- National anthem

- School song

 

After Pregame

Sit in designated area beside the band, any general admission seat or your own seat if you have season tickets. You will not be playing with the band - just enjoying the game.
