Join us Friday, September 11, 2026, for the Dobyns-Bennett vs. Oak Ridge football game as alumni from across the decades return to perform alongside one another in a special Centennial Alumni Band performance.
Centennial Homecoming Fundraising Event
On Saturday, September 12, 2026, alumni, families, friends, and supporters are invited to the Dobyns-Bennett Band Centennial Homecoming Celebration at the Kingsport Farmers Market beginning at 6:00 PM.
This special evening will feature fellowship, memories, recognition, and a celebration of the remarkable people and traditions that have defined a century of excellence.
More importantly, this event serves as a fundraiser to help economically disadvantaged Dobyns-Bennett Band students participate in the 2026 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Every ticket purchased and every auction item sold helps ensure that financial circumstances do not prevent a deserving student from experiencing this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Attention Past Band Families, Alumni, and Band Supporters!
As we prepare to celebrate our upcoming Centennial Year, we are looking for photos and memories that help tell the story of our band program's rich history. These photos may be featured in centennial-themed social media posts and could also be included in our commemorative Centennial Book.
We are especially interested in photos taken prior to 2011, but we welcome submissions from any era of the program's history.
