Do you love watching marching bands on Friday nights? Then J. Fred Johnson Stadium is the place to be on Saturday, October 17th. Premier bands throughout our area and the southeast have been invited to compete in the 3rd Annual Tennessee Valley Showcase.

See it from the Start - The competition will begin at 5:00 pm with our National Anthem being played by over 650 musicians comprised of the Dobyns-Bennett Marching Band and all 7th and 8th grade members of the John Sevier and Ross N. Robinson middle school bands. This will truly be a moment you would not want to miss. Competition will conclude with an exhibition performance by our own Dobyns-Bennett Marching Band.

Great Food - This will be a great opportunity to see some of the best marching bands in one place at one time and taste the best from some of our local restaurants at Taste of the Showcase. Buy your tickets early and SAVE! - We are pleased to announce that we are offering discounted advanced ticket purchases until Thursday, October 15th. Advanced tickets are $5 per person and $7 per person on the day of the event. Children three and under are admitted free. Advanced tickets may be purchased until October 15th:

Program Advertising Available - Advertising in the TVS program is a great way to show your support of this special community event, celebrate your student, and promote your business. The deadline to purchase your student or business ad is September 30th! Prices are $35 for a quarter page, $70 for a half page, and $100 for a full page. We accept ads for students from all competing bands, Sevier and RNR middle schools as well as D-B students. When does it all begin on October 17th? - We will be announcing our complete schedule including ticket booth and gate opening times and performance times for middle school students and competing bands as the event date draws closer. Please check back to get all the late breaking news.
