University of Tennessee “Pride of the Southland” Band member and Dobyns-Bennett graduate David Marcus and Dobyns-Bennett sophomore trumpet player Kevin Marcus performed on the same field as members of two different bands at the UT vs. Buffalo football game on October 2nd.

The brothers spent two years together as members of the DB Band and were reunited as performers when the “Pride of the Southland” Band and the DB Band joined on the field for the closing number of the Tennessee Band’s show. The DB Band was very proud to be the first high school band in 50 years to be invited to perform at a University of Tennessee home football game.
